  • Tonal energy is a visual tuner that has several functions. The best thing about using Tonal Energy is the visual that it provides for students.

  • Garageband is a DAW that can be used to compose and share music. Compositions can be created from provided drum loops and the provided sound library.

  • This website is filled with several tools to help students understand various topics of theory. There are opportunities to take listening quizzes along with tools such as interval identification, tonality, and meter.

  • YouTube provides visual and audio assistance for the music classroom. Backing tracks, explanations, song examples, and technique examples are some of the tools that are able to be utilized in a musical setting.

  • This visual metronome can be used by students when they are at their computers and do not have a metronome. There are great explanations on how to practice music, tempo markings, and how to use a metronome.

  • This is a great website for those who are wanting to learn about jazz or already involved in jazz. The site focus heavily on developing the necessary skills for jazz improvisation.
